MILESTONES COFFEE CHAT: 2023 ANNUAL REPORT RELEASE + STRATEGIC PLANNING CHECK IN

Guests joined us on Thursday, March 28th at 10:30am to discuss the learnings from our 2023 Annual Report, as well as updates on progress on our strategic plan! 2023 was a milestone year for us in meeting our initial vision to serve 100 families over 5 years while also completing a five-year plan to guide our future.

Co-hosted by Platform of Hope Advisory Board member and CLASP Director of Income and Work Supports Cara Brumfield.

 

POH FALL HAPPY HOUR OCTOBER 2023

Guests connected at Code Red in Adams Morgan for a POH Happy Hour to thank supporters of the Platform of Hope and welcome new, interested folks. We loved hearing from POH families and Advisory Board members with highlights from the year while celebrating fall.

 

2022 Annual Report Release

On March 31, 2023, guests joined us virtually and in person at Potter’s House for the release of our 2022 Annual Report: MOTIVATION. Big thanks to our Advisory Board for co-hosting this event with us!

2021 ANNUAL REPORT RELEASE MARCH 30, 2022

We hosted our first in-person public event in over two years on Wednesday, March 30th from 4:00-5:30. The 2021 Annual Report features data, stories and learnings from our third program year— uplifting the continuing challenges from the pandemic as well as the resiliency and progress from families.

Hosted at Potter’s House (1658 Columbia Road NW) from 4-5, guests then were invited to a tour of the Platform of Hope offices and reception from 5-5:30pm. Thanks to all who joined us!

POH PAINT NIGHT 2021!

Guests joined us on Friday, November 5th from 5:30-7:00 for our first ever virtual POH Paint Night. Led by DC artist Heidi (Desert 2 District), we learned how to paint loose florals, created our own family watercolor wreathes and shared more about POH’s work with families in 2021. It was wonderful to discover our inner artist and connect with our community! All participants received a paint set in the mail.

 

2021 ONLINE COMMUNITY AUCTION

Our second annual online auction raised over $15,000 for the Platform of Hope. Featuring over 50 items donated by members of our community, the auction helps connect our supporters together while raising funds for our on-going work.

COFFEE CHAT- JOIN US TO DISCUSS THE PLATFORM OF HOPE’S 2019-2020 ANNUAL REPORT: RESILIENCY

On Wednesday, April 14th from 10am-11am we met on zoom to discuss the themes of our 2019-2020 annual report; listen to POH families talk about their COVID-19 experience; and learn more about our unique model. This event was co-hosted by our Advisory Board member Cara Brumfield and featured special coffee prizes for our guests!

inaugural annual report release november 2019

We were pleased to host a Launch Event on November 19, 2019 to celebrate the release of our inaugural annual report. The event include presentation of data from Brighter Strategies, a family panel, remarks from our leadership and discussion from guests. Images from the event can be seen here.

OPEN HOUSE WITH THE PLATFORM OF HOPE FEBRUARY 2019
